The Kinyo Roadshow mascot released
So, once upon a time there is ('is', not 'was', luckily the guy is still around) a prolific Japanese creator known as GooGoo64 whose technical deficiencies made them a subject of this one video series I used to do a long time ago. And yet as of few years ago I felt like I was frankly a bit too harsh on the guy. As much as I stand by that on a technical level his creations are far from decently made, he sure displayed a lot of creativity within some of his works. With that in mind I was considering rebuilding one of the characters he did and I settled on taking on a mascot of a Japanese show that ended up being a Japanese meme character.

He can be found at the characters section. And GooGoo64 if you're reading this allow me to take the time to say that I'm sorry for what I may have put you through. Burying the hatchet certainly felt more productive than doing these videos, for the lack of better description.

UPDATE Today I'm also giving you a little bonus that can be found at the stages section!

Helmet and Sparq released
Long time no see, eh?

I'm personally not too happy about how little I ended up releasing last year myself but despite having a couple of ideas I had a hard time getting myself to start anything of a scope even halfway comparable to Dink, partly because I wanted to take a break after that last ambitious project and partly because some personal issues caused that break to last longer than I've imagined. So with that in mind I picked up the two simpler characters I've started in the meantime and put them out to make up for my sparse last year. I would like to be able to start a new sprited character again, so who knows maybe I should take a few steps back in order to take a big leap forward at times. I'd guess as long as you'd temper the expectations you can get something out of them.

The two characters in question are both loose conversions. One is the CPU opponent with the cool Kudo headgear (part of why I chose this spriteset over the player characters') from Chatan Yarakuu Shanku, and the other is Johnny Cage actor's unsung role as the supercharged sunglasses fighter from the canceled Thea Realm Fighters. Quite a duo, huh.

Regardless, grab them both at the characters section.

Dink Smallwood (part II), updated
After four months with various misadventures, the relatively famed Farm Boy has now reached the scope I was hoping to reach by the first time I've released him, with two fighting styles at his disposal (the new one being the one more centered around use of his various weapons compared to the other one). Man, that was a quite long road for me, and while I'll admit that few graphical things would use some refinement, I've already put so much work into this character that I just needed a proper break and perhaps after a while move on to some other things (and hey, at least that way I leave some room for potential minor update for Dink later down the line if I'd still feel like it). Maybe perhaps it would've been that one other thing I wanted to do in Mugen outside of the fullgames (can't exactly guarantee you that, nor would I reveal what it would be, but fingers crossed).

Get the new tools at the characters' section, and by the way..... thanks for the support throrough all of these years.
