I've made a tutorial about sprite ripping. This is the first part of my tutorial series for learning how to create a character.
This part would teach you about ripping your sprites in the correct way. A good character starts from a good base, and a bad ripping technique can ruin your characters. [proud mode ON] Why my tutorial series would be better than the other tutorials found in the net? Because it tells you: - How to rip sprites in the correct way, just as the greatest creators did - Learn how to get perfect axis for your sprites - Learn how to extract and apply palettes easily, without any problem, and in few minutes. - Learn how to save time and efforts in character creation. - Learn how to build your SFF in a secure way. No more corrupted SFF or accidental deletion - Learn how to create easy and perfect CLSN boxes - Learn all secrets and tips in character creation [Proud mode OFF] Tutorial can be found in my site. -------------------- |

Real nice tutorial, it completes Kitsune's Debug Bios usage one.
Easy to read/to understand. Good work, X. 8) Oh, and leave the proud mode ON |

Great tutorial the only thing I didnt catch is how to get a perfect y axis. Definately the best ripping tutorial that I have seen, self explanatory and leaves all questions answered.

Very well done tutorial, X. I wish I should use some debug stuff on CPS2 too.
(mmmm anyone knows how the debug dips work on other neogeo games, like metal slug?) |

That rule is waived in this section, since someone could add things to the topic at hand.
At least that's how it was before. |

True, but saying good tutorial doesn't warrant bumping a six month old post.
