It changes and more than likely it changes in turns and team mode. Just play through a couple matches in each mode with the parameter in the clipboard.
-------------------- You might think that Elecbyte is dead, but this investigation has not been solved for years.

Only during turns mode on the first-player side, and only for the second, third, and fourth characters. MUGEN will count every character and helper ever made since the prior rounds for those characters (ie. one-on-one turns fight. 15 helpers are made. P1 loses. Player 1: Character 2 ID will = 2 (characters one and two from the first fight) + 15(helpers) + 31(ID offset) = 48).
In any other mode, P1 is always 32. |

Every time you continue in any arcade mode, the players get higher IDs.
